In this tutorial we’ll show how to create and customize Excel calendar quickly and easily.

When your calendar is ready, you should select needed plug-in for calendar building. To create Excel calendar, we of course will select MS Excel plug-in.

Before creating calendar in Excel, Calendar Wizard offers you to select the method of adapting calendar colors to the Excel palette. You can use either Microsoft Excel internal methods or palette remapping table. If you use Excel 2007 or 2010, you'd better use Excel internal methods – these versions of Excel support the same colors as Calendar Wizard. Also, there’s no need to use remapping table if only simple (primary) colors like black and red are used in your calendar.

But if you use Excel 2003 and there are lots of secondary colors and tints in your calendar, the colors may be changed by Excel because its palette contains less colors than the Calendar Wizard 's one. In this case, you may use palette remapping table to choose the most suitable colors manually.

After exporting your calendar grid to MS Excel, you can take full advantage of this application and use such options as cell formatting, drawing and pictures, headers and footers, formulas, labels, hyperlinks, printing, preview, page setup, etc.
